Tracey is counsel for corporate organization, structuring, and governance; share and asset transactions; renewable and natural resources; post-merger integration; securities; long-term employee incentive plans; exit plans for small business owners; data conversion, and intellectual property.

Tracey has led in many courses, seminars, and given papers and presentations to many professional organizations and academic institutions about corporate governance, asset transactions, and intellectual property. He teaches business law and management at Mount Royal University and survey law at the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary.

Tracey offers disadvantaged Calgarians free legal advice in civil law, landlord/tenant matters, and employment law with Calgary Legal Guidance. He is also a part-time Hearing Commissioner for the Alberta Energy Regulator and president of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
